La Onda Hotel Durres

The hotel may not be the Walldorf Astoria NYC, but it has the best staff in the world. It starts with simple things like their basic friendliness, continues with the excellent breakfast service, and ends with special requests from guests like late checkout or laundry service. I have rarely experienced such accommodating hospitality. THANK YOU!

I loved that the hotel is situated right by the beach, it’s quiet and super comfortable. The locals were exceptionally welcoming and friendly and the food was great. Breakfast options from the hotel were incredible, meals were thoughtfully presented and staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. I’ll be visiting again soon and I highly recommend if you are seeking a nice place to relax by the beach with several restaurants within a walking distance.

Forget about how beautiful and clean the hotel is....trust me it is both. But what l loved about our stay was the exceptional service we got from the moment we got there just after midnight to when we left. These guys are good and l highly recommend booking this hotel. The beach is just 200 metres away and no need for towels, they provide you with some. Unfortunately l can't list all the good here but we are happy to have stayed at La Onda

The hotel is brand new and overall, we had a very positive experience. There was a small issue with the bathroom door not closing properly, but it was fixed immediately, so no real problem. Special thanks to the gentleman at the reception – he was incredibly helpful and friendly, assisting us with everything we needed. The rooms and common areas were spotless. The bathroom was well-equipped, and we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the beach towels provided. The beach is just a short walk away, which was perfect. Breakfast was good – we only stayed for two nights, so it’s hard to judge how it would be for a longer stay, but for a short trip it was just fine.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and was truly impressed. The hotel is brand new, and both the exterior and interior design are outstanding. What stood out to me most was the fantastic team running it — from the reception to the kitchen staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming, yet always respectful of your personal space — a perfect balance of hospitality and professionalism. I’m very satisfied with my stay and will definitely return!
